I actually took these pics before Otakon, but I don’t think I ever posted any! Tiny baby Tronquitos! I scaled the pattern down to almost exactly half of the original and experimented with some new faces, too. It was really awesome when I had a whole army of them!

This was the latest feedback I received and I laughed so hard… (and my photo taking obviously sucks in a huge way…. it’s probably a good thing I’ve stuck with needle felting and didn’t jump into photography)…….. “I always fear when I buy something on Etsy, that while the photos look beautiful, the actual item, once in my hands would resemble something weevils made in the compost heap. With Cat’s feltlings it is quite the opposite, her photos are crude cave drawings compared to the Van Gogh like wonders of the actual creation when it is sitting there in front of you. The Tree Trunks she made for me was Mathmatical! She is so solid and life like and prefect and cuddly looking, I swear I can hear her muttering in the box as I speak. Cat’s customer service was sublime, she sent me numerous photographs of the progress and kept on asking if there was anything else I would like to add or alter. She is funny, warm and kind in her emails. She comes across as the kind of person you wished lived close by so you could be friends. $50 is too cheap for what I got.”

Omg… she was a BLAST to create…. so tiny in size (she’s only 3.75” tall and 4” long) but HUGE on personality! Someone just came over to visit and fell in love with her and this tells you how bad my photo skills are… she says to me, “Cat, she is SOOOO much cuter in person..” *facepalm* Guess I should try and take some photos of her outside.
